About Us

Destination Huntingburg is an organization of volunteers dedicated
to encourage, enrich, and develop an inviting atmosphere in 

Huntingburg. We are committed to preserving the history of the downtown while leading the way in civic, cultural, social, and economic activities.

Established in 2014, Destination Huntingburg is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that hosts a number of downtown events including: 

• Solar Eclipse
• Derby Day
• 4th Fridays 
• Huntingburg Farmers Market 
• Monday Munchtime 
• Farmers Table 
• Haunted Huntingburg 
• Ice Skating at Market Street Park
• A Christmas Journey

Destination Huntingburg, an official member of the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs Indiana Main Street Program, strives to make downtown Huntingburg a place for residents and visitors alike to support local businesses while creating an environment where people choose to live, work, and play!

  • Building consensus and cooperation among the many groups and individuals involved in the revitalization process.

  • Marketing the commercial district’s assets to customers, potential investors, businesses, local citizens, and visitors.

  • Aiding in the enhancements of the physical appearance of downtown to create a friendly, attractive place that will draw in visitors and businesses.

  • Strengthening the district’s existing economic base while finding ways to capitalize on new opportunities and overcome challenges
